Grand Junction man accused of fentanyl, weapons charges

A Grand Junction man has been indicted by a federal grand jury on drug and weapons charges.

Shawn Burket, 43, is charged with possession of fentanyl with intent to distribute and possession of a firearm by a prohibited person stemming from an incident Aug. 2 in Clear Creek County.

Burket was also arrested for possession of meth while out on bond back in 2016, and has a long history of drug and weapon charges.
