Verbal disturbance in the area of Olson Ave and Santa Clara Ave is likely in connection with a person at the residence shooting a dog. According to reports to 911 dispatch, callers reported hearing dogs fighting, lots of yelling, and a single gunshot from a small caliber weapon. Police on scene spoke with an individual that claimed a dog had been shot at the location. A 21 year old female is being treated for a penetrating dog bite on the right hand.
