From the Mesa County Sheriff’s Office:

The Mesa County Sheriff’s Office, Colorado State Patrol, Lower Valley Fire Protection District, and other state partners were on-site during the three-day Country Jam music festival in Mack, Colorado.

The Mesa County Sheriff’s Office and Colorado State Liquor Enforcement under-aged drinking enforcement team issued 70 summons for alcohol violations.

The Colorado State Patrol conducted 131 traffic stops, resulting in eight proactive DUI arrests. 

During the three-day festival, Lower Valley Fire Protection District treated 128 patients on-site and transported nine to local hospitals. Medical-related incidents included orthopedic Injuries, wound care, allergic reactions, and alcohol intoxication. Lower Valley also responded to one fire-related incident involving a propane fire pit inside a tent.

Mesa County Sheriff’s Office Deputies arrested one person with several warrants who was contacted inside the festival. In addition, deputies responded to calls of several verbal altercations and one fight.
