Around 6:30am this morning, police attempted to stop a black Audi A4 that fled a traffic stop at a high rate of speed. Police were able to deploy tire spikes (stop sticks) and puncture the cars tires. The chase ended in Fruita near the hospital after a short foot pursuit with the suspect. Vehicle had temporary registration out of Arizona.
