Vehicle in the area of I-70 Exit 26 struck a deer. Afterward, a motorcycle accident was caused either by the deer carcass and/or the traffic backup avoiding the deer. The multiple incidents stopped traffic in the westbound lanes for a short period before one lane was able to be reopened. The motorcycle rider was thrown from the bike and bleeding from the head, but was reported as awake and standing, able to walk.
