Police Respond to Stabbing, Area of Science Park

From the Grand Junction Police Department:

On 8/28/24, at approximately 6:10 a.m., 911 dispatchers with the Grand Junction Regional Communications Center received a report of a stabbing which occurred in the area of Science Park located at 1640 River Circle. Officers arrived in the area to find the victim, an adult female, with an apparent stab wound. The victim was transported to the hospital by the Grand Junction Fire Department. The suspect fled the scene and there is a large police presence in the area as they search for the suspect. The Grand Junction Police Department believes this to be an isolated incident. This remains an ongoing investigation and there is no further information available at this time.
