Adult male threatened attempted to stab his father with a knife in the area of Unaweep Avenue and David Street in Orchard Mesa. Police are on scene at an apartment complex near that intersection. Suspect is in custody. Ambulance has been dispatched for the male suspect who cut his own hand. The father is not injured and was able to safely leave the scene. Suspect is likely having a mental health episode.
