Structure fire started around 9:30 a.m. this morning in Clifton on Beverly Lane off of E 1/2 Road, 3 blocks west of City Market. Police arriving on scene reported the structure was fully engulfed in flames with a resident attempting to save his dog. Two people suffered injuries from the fire, with one female victim needing treatment for burns, smoke inhalation, and a resulting seizure. A fire investigator was dispatched to the scene.
