From the Grand Junction Police Department:
On 11/19/24, at approximately 3:50 p.m., officers with the Grand Junction Police Department received a report of a shoplifting in progress at Tractor Supply located at 2449 HWY 6 and 50. Officers worked with the Grand Junction Police Department’s Intelligence Unit and located the suspects involved in this incident minutes later. Officers performed a traffic stop in the area of HWY 6 and 50 and 25 Road and took four individuals into custody. Joe Tatum (age 39), Jaiden Kennedy (age 24), Elizabeth Tucker (age 36), and William Darling (age 26) were arrested on multiple charges related to this incident.
The Grand Junction Police Department believes this to be an isolated incident with no ongoing danger to the community. This incident remains under investigation and there is no further information available at this time.
