Fruita Police were in a short foot pursuit near City Market in Fruita. Police attempted to contact a male suspect involved in a verbal argument with an employee in the parking lot. Suspect then started burning a flag in the parking lot, possibly intoxicated. Suspect fled from police but was quickly caught and is in custody.
