Dispatch Center Handles Over 289,000 Calls in 2024

The Grand Junction Regional Communication Center (GJRCC) has released its December and year-end dispatch statistics for 2024. In December alone, the center handled 20,706 incoming calls, including 5,371 emergency 911 calls and 15,335 non-emergency calls. These resulted in 13,108 dispatched incidents.

For the entirety of 2024, the GJRCC managed an impressive 289,781 incoming calls, leading to 159,640 dispatches. This includes 127,619 law enforcement incidents and 32,021 fire/EMS responses. Notable contributions came from the Grand Junction Police Department with 67,710 dispatches and the Grand Junction Fire Department with 22,459 dispatches.
