Early morning fire in a semi trailer closed I-70 westbound for several hours Friday near the Mack exit. No injuries were reported. The Fedex driver called for emergency services stating that one of his two trailers being pulled was on fire, likely caused by the trailer brakes. The driver quickly disconnect the trailer and waited fire crews to respond.
Icy conditions may exist around the fire scene due to firefighting efforts.
