Vehicle vs pedestrian at the intersection of North 7th and Patterson Road. Pedestrian is a 55 year old male with a head and shoulder injury. Vehicle involved is a Nissan Pathfinder.

On January 13, 2025, at approximately 4:25 p.m., officers with the Grand Junction Police Department responded to the area of 7th Street and Patterson Road for a vehicle versus pedestrian crash. While on scene, officers found a vehicle had turned at a slow rate of speed and struck a pedestrian in the crosswalk. The pedestrian was transported to the hospital by the Grand Junction Fire Department with what appeared to be minor injuries. Alcohol is not being looked at as a factor. This is an ongoing investigation and there is no further information at this time.
