From the Grand Junction Police Department:
On January 13, 2025, at approximately 7:45 a.m., officers with the Grand Junction Police Department responded to the area of 7th Street and Grand Avenue for a non-injury hit and run crash. When officers arrived, they discovered a charcoal gray Chevy Impala was traveling at a high rate of speed and struck two vehicles from behind. The suspect then fled prior to law enforcement arrival.
On January 15, 2025, Hannah Pyle, age 19, was arrested and issued a summons on the following charges:
- Hit and Run
- Leaving the Scene of an Accident
- Careless Driving
The Grand Junction Police Department would like to thank community members for their assistance in this investigation. This is believed to be an isolated incident and there is no further information at this time.
