High risk traffic stop in front of IHOP on Highway 6&50 with an erratic male driver that informed the officer he has a gun. Additional officers responded emergent to the area for backup and safely took the driver in to custody. Driver did have a gun in the vehicle. A sheriff supervisor is on scene due to the sheriff’s office being familiar with the male suspect.
