Police attempted to contact a male suspect with outstanding warrants near Cedar Way and South Pine Street in Fruita. Suspect fled on foot near East Aspen Avenue, and then back south to Cedar Way. The pursuit lasted only a few minutes until police took the suspect safely into custody.
