From the Grand Junction Police Department:
On March 13, 2022, officers with the Grand Junction Police Department responded to a report of a shooting on the 2700 block of B ½ Road. Officers arrived at a residence and discovered shots had been fired into the home. There were no injuries sustained in this 2022 incident.
An arrest warrant was written and issued for the suspect, Oscar Lorenzo Garcia (age 22), for his involvement in this incident.
On February 4, 2025, law enforcement contacted Garcia and took him into custody without incident. Garcia was transported to the Mesa County Detention Facility and booked in on the charges of Attempted Murder in the 1st Degree and Conspiracy to Commit Murder in the 1st Degree.
This case has been turned over to the 21st Judicial District Attorney’s Office and there is no further information available.
