
Grand Junction, CO – March 5, 2025 – The Grand Junction Police Department’s Animal Control unit has released its monthly statistics for February 2025, highlighting their efforts to manage and support the community’s animal population.
According to the report, the Animal Control team responded to an impressive 370 calls for service throughout the month. Their dedicated efforts resulted in the collection of 48 animals in need of assistance or rescue. Of those collected, 26 animals were successfully reunited with their owners, showcasing the unit’s commitment to reuniting pets with their families.
The statistics reflect the hard work of the Animal Control team, supported by the Grand Junction Police Department, in ensuring the safety and well-being of both animals and the community.
