Police have a student detained in the office that caused a disturbance at Bookcliff Middle School. All students at the school are safe and are in shelter-in-place. Police are searching the detained juveniles backpack for the possibility of a weapon. District 51 security, Grand Junction Police, and student resource officers are all on scene investigating.
