Police have a male suspect in custody after he ran from a traffic stop near Unaweep Avenue and East Highland Drive in Orchard Mesa. The male was already detained in handcuffs prior to attempting to flee the area on foot. Police caught the suspect and have requested an ambulance to the scene to check for injuries.
