Officers with the Grand Junction Police Department responded to a crash near N 19th Street and Bunting Avenue on March 27, 2025, at approximately 1:40 a.m. Upon arrival, officers learned that a male had been sitting on the rear hood of a moving vehicle when he fell off and sustained a serious head injury. The Grand Junction Fire Department transported him to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. The Grand Junction Police Department is actively investigating this incident, and no charges have been filed at this time. As the investigation remains ongoing, no further information is available.
