A crash occurred around 6:45 a.m. Wednesday near mile marker 17 west of the Fruita exit on I-70. The single vehicle accident involved a blue Ford Explorer which the driver was pinned inside, possibly against a tree. Crash also involved multiple children. At least one male occupant suffered a head injury.
