Single vehicle accident into the canal / ditch at Patterson Road and 29 Road. Bystanders have helped the driver out of the vehicle, a black Honda Civic, that is now submerged. Driver is reporting no injury. Responders are blocking southbound traffic on 29 Road.

At approximately 2:45 p.m. on April 17, 2025, officers with the Grand Junction Police Department responded to a report of a car in a ditch near 29 Road and Patterson.
Officers learned that a vehicle traveling southbound on 29 Road drove through the intersection and into a ditch southwest of the intersection. The driver was transported to the hospital with minor injuries.
The cause of the crash is under investigation. No further information is available at this time.
