
Vehicle vs motorcycle in the westbound lanes of Patterson Road near 24 Road. The rider is a 30 year old male with a serious leg injury. A bystander was applying a belt to the leg. Rider was transported to the hospital in serious condition.

On May 9, 2025, at approximately 4:15 p.m., officers from the Grand Junction Police Department responded to a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Patterson Road and North Mall Access Road.
Upon arrival, officers determined that a vehicle traveling westbound on Patterson Road had attempted to turn left and collided with a motorcycle heading eastbound. Bystanders immediately rendered life-saving aid until emergency responders arrived on scene. The Grand Junction Fire Department transported one patient to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Speed is being considered as a possible contributing factor.
