Police attempted to contact a male suspect in the area of Elm Avenue and Elm Circle when he became erratic and resisted arrest. The officer eventually got the male under control and took him into custody. Additional backup rushed to the scene to assist. An ambulance was dispatched to check the suspect for injury.
