
Vehicle vs motorcycle accident with serious injury at Bunting Avenue and North 7th Street. The rider is a 48-year-old male with traumatic injury to the leg plainly visible. Bystanders are attempting to apply a tourniquet to the leg. The accident is blocking traffic on 7th Street.
Update: Police have a female in custody that is refusing any form of intoxication testing. An ambulance was dispatched after the female became unresponsive, but breathing, in the back of the patrol vehicle.

On June 14, 2025, at approximately 3:20 p.m., officers with the Grand Junction Police Department responded to a vehicle versus motorcycle crash near the intersection of N 7th Street and Bunting Avenue.
Preliminary investigation indicates that a vehicle traveling southbound on N 7th Street crossed into the northbound lane and collided with a motorcycle. The motorcyclist sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported to the hospital by the Grand Junction Fire Department.
This crash remains under active investigation. Alcohol and drugs are suspected to be contributing factors. No further information is available at this time.
