Search and rescue teams have been dispatched for an overheated and lost hiking couple in the Pollock Trail area in Fruita. Teams have located the lost hikers and are assisting them. A 62-year-old female is being treated for heat exposure. During the search a rescue responder, a 25-year-old male, suffered an ankle injury requiring medical attention from his teammates. Everyone is currently accounted for and teams are transporting additional water for all individuals involved.
