Sheriff is out at a disturbance on Highline Canal Road, just south of I-70 in Palisade. Incident was originally for a suspicious vehicle / trespass. A female suspect resisted arrest and punched a deputy Palisade officer, triggering a larger law enforcement response to the area. Female suspect was taken into custody. An ambulance was dispatched to check suspect and deputy for injuries.
