Lower Valley Fire is responding to a vehicle fire at mile marker 30 on Highway 139 near Douglas Pass. A camper attached to a vehicle caught fire, occupants were attempting to disconnect the tow vehicle. Responders are reporting a smoke column is visible from the valley.
Update: Crews arriving on scene are reporting the camper is burnt to its frame. They are working to extinguish the fire.
