Emergency responders are investigating smoke in the building at Grand Vista Hotel on Horizon Drive. Sprinkler alarms are active and there is a smell of burnt plastic; no flames observed at this time.
Responders on the first floor are moving toward the kitchen; there is a smell of smoke reported in the area.
The kitchen area on the first floor was checked; it is smoky, but nothing is found; next level will be checked. Incoming fire crews are also assisting with investigation checking elevator equipment and AC units.
