Police were in a short foot pursuit with a male suspect between Target and JCPenny at the Mesa Mall at Patterson and 24 1/2 Road. Police have the suspect in custody. The suspect was originally running from mall security prior to running from police. Incident possibly started over a theft / shoplifting, but not confirmed.
