Police were in a short foot pursuit with a suspect in the area of Elm Avenue and North 16th Street. Incident started as a routine traffic stop before turning into a foot pursuit. Officers held the male at gunpoint until he was safely taken into custody.
- Suspect: Francisco Rodriguez (DOB 1981), white male, 5’2″, 130 lb, brown hair/eyes.
- Warrants (per radio): Multiple FTAs from Grand Junction PD — DV (dangerous drugs) no bond; felony FTA for vehicle theft; DV FTA for resisting/obstruction; plus several misdemeanor FTAs (traffic & dangerous drugs), many noted no bond.
