Single vehicle accident into a tree in the area of Sherwood Park and North 5th Street. Two occupants of the vehicle have fled the area. Vehicle was described as smoking and leaking fluids all over the ground. Police are on scene investigating, and now in contact with the driver who is complaining of ankle pain.
Radio traffic seems to indicate the driver and occupant(s) might be juveniles, and possibly related to Grand Junction High School.
