Multiple vehicles including a motorcycle on fire in the area of Rood Avenue and North 8th Street. Responders arriving on scene report a motorcycle on the ground and two nearby vehicles on fire, including a tree. Police say they are in contact with the motorcycle owner.
GRAND JUNCTION, CO – A motorcycle caught fire in the parking lot of Rio Grande Federal Credit Union at 745 Rood Avenue around 1:19 p.m. on Monday, according to the Grand Junction Fire Department (GJFD). The blaze spread to a nearby vehicle and a tree but was successfully contained within the parking lot, posing no threat to surrounding structures. No injuries were reported.
The Grand Junction Police Department provided assistance with scene safety and traffic control.
