Sheriff Seeks Help Identifying Armed Home Invasion Suspects

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. – The Mesa County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in identifying three suspects involved in an armed home invasion that occurred early Wednesday morning. One suspect has been arrested in connection with the crime.

According to a press release from the Mesa County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a report of an armed home invasion in the 400 block of Morning Dove Drive at approximately 4 a.m. on September 3, 2025. The residents of the home reported that four suspects had entered their home and then fled the scene before deputies arrived.

Investigators with the Mesa County Sheriff’s Office were able to identify one of the suspects as Shane Bowser, 29. Bowser has since been taken into custody.

The Sheriff’s Office is now seeking to identify the three remaining suspects. The press release included images of the three masked individuals. One suspect appears to be a female wearing all black with an orange face covering. A second suspect was seen wearing a grey hoodie with a black face mask, and the third was dressed in all black with a black face covering.
