Single motorcycle accident on 32 Road in front of Family Dollar near D 3/4 Road in Clifton. Rider is a 23-year-old male, conscious and breathing, bleeding badly from his head leg, and possible head injury. Bystanders are working on bleeding control.
Update: This accident is likely a hit-and-run. Anyone who recognizes a vehicle with damage consisting of the missing panels / coloring below should contact the Mesa County Sheriff’s Office.
Update: Police are on the lookout for a 2002 Maroon Cadillac Escalade with a fake license plate VMQ-484 and damage to the front driver side bumper. The vehicle was last seen in the area of Topaz Drive & D 1/2 Road in Clifton. If located, contact the non-emergency dispatch at 970-242-6707 and do not approach or engage with the suspect.
