GRAND JUNCTION, CO – A 23-year-old man, Cole Hepp, was arrested on September 19, 2025, by the Grand Junction Police Department in connection with a sex crime reported on May 29, 2025. The incident, which occurred in the northeast quadrant of Grand Junction, involved Hepp allegedly sending sexually explicit material of a female when she was a juvenile, along with harassing messages.
Following an investigation, a warrant was issued for Hepp on charges of Sexual Exploitation of a Child and Harassment. He was taken into custody without incident and booked into the Mesa County Detention Facility.
The case remains under investigation, with assistance from the Fruita Police Department, Mesa County Sheriff’s Office, and Colorado State Patrol.
