Police are in the area of Walmart and the homeless shelter on North Avenue and 28 3/4 Road for a disturbance. A homeless male was seen with a large kitchen knife walking in traffic pushing a shopping cart full of cardboard. The male suspect had blood on his face. Officers took the suspect safely into custody in the area of the homeless shelter. An ambulance was dispatched to check the suspect for injuries.
