Police and EMS are in the area of Horizon Drive near North 12th Street with a male that was the victim of an assault. Radio traffic indicated a 70-year-old male, possibly homeless, was assaulted in the street by another male that fled the scene in a truck. There were possibly other occupants in the suspects vehicle as well. The victim was hit in the head and has a small cut on his ear and an abrasion to his right arm. Police are searching the area for suspect and are investigating.
