House fire reported on Kirby Lane just north of Bookcliff Avenue. Started as a fire in the kitchen and has possibly spread to the attic. Responders arriving on scene reporting heavy smoke showing from the home. Clifton Fire with the assistance of Grand Junction Fire worked together to extinguish blaze. Clifton Fire reported that one person was transported to the hospital with injuries.
