Vehicle accident reported near mile marker 51 on I-70 just east of the Beavertail Tunnel. There is a crashed vehicle blocking a lane of traffic and 3 vehicles pulled over on the shoulder further up the Interstate. Crashed vehicle as airbags deployed and fluids leaking surrounded by debris. So far there are no injuries reported. CDOT is dispatched to assist with traffic control. State Patrol is also on scene. A witness stated the vehicle possibly rolled.
Update: State Patrol radio traffic seems to indicate this is a single vehicle accident, a 2006 white Honda Accord. Occupants were transported by another driver either into town or a hospital. State Patrol is investigating. A tow is requested to clear up the roadway.
