Emergency responders were dispatched to Watson Island East after a report of an adult male who drove an electric wheelchair into the river and was found unresponsive and not breathing. Radio traffic indicates the wheelchair was located in the water about 30 feet south of the reporting party but was found empty; later radio traffic indicated the incident was being treated as an apparent death.
