Clifton Fire crews are responding to a garbage truck that has a trash fire inside of its compactor in the area of F Road and 32 Road. The truck might possibly dump its trash contents so that the fire department can fight the fire. Crews arriving on scene reporting light smoke with active fire in the trash truck compactor.
Clifton Fire provided a safety reminder to the community: “Always be cautious when throwing trash away. Never dispose of hazardous materials, flammable items, or other banned substances in your trash. These can spark fires and put everyone at risk.”
