Fire crews and EMS were dispatched to a reported residential structure fire in the area of 24 Rd. Multiple fire units, ambulance crews and Mesa County Sheriff deputies responded after callers reported flames and smoke visible at a one-story, apparently abandoned house with boarded windows. Responders reported active flames coming from the east side of the home.
Crews reported the fire was largely contained to the living room and kitchen area. A primary search found no occupants.
