A vehicle struck a light pole around 7:31 p.m. near Carville’s Auto Mart at Highway 650 and 25 Road. Grand Junction police, fire and EMS were dispatched to the scene.
Radio traffic indicated the driver is a 19-year-old female who was conscious and breathing and had facial bleeding from the nose; airbags deployed. The vehicle — described as a dark Subaru Outback — was reported in the median. The pole was completely down and blocking one lane but was not sparking.
