An assault and medical response was reported around 5:30 p.m. at a residence in the 2900 block of Mesa Avenue. Law enforcement was on scene and requested fire and EMS to respond with lights and sirens after callers said a woman had been struck in the head and had collapsed.
Radio traffic indicated the female was conscious and breathing and had blood on the back of her head. One witness described a possible assault inside the residence.
Police are issuing tickets for individuals at the address repeatedly causing disturbances.
