Shortly after 3:40 p.m., Grand Junction police responded to reports of a domestic disturbance with an uncooperative male who may be armed in the Sutherlands parking lot. Officers on scene reported the male had a handgun in his waistband and was not complying with commands.
Both the male and female involved in the incident were detained by police. They are possibly associated with a red Denali in the parking lot. Officers are speaking with both involved and are investigating.
