Two Early Morning Vehicle Crashes Reported in Grand Junction

A single-vehicle crash occurred around 4:34 a.m. in the 800 block of 26 Road. A white sedan reportedly crashed through a fence and landed in a ditch filled with water; the vehicle was smoking and leaking gasoline into the water. A 20-year-old male occupant was initially unconscious but later reported to be conscious, breathing, and believed to be intoxicated. Fire, EMS, and State Patrol responded, and containment efforts were underway.

Shortly after, between 4:43 a.m. and 4:50 a.m., another single-vehicle accident occurred on North Haven Crest Court, where a sedan drove through a front yard and came to rest against a home’s front door. Initial reports indicated the driver was unresponsive but breathing; later updates confirmed the driver exited the vehicle without obvious injuries. Grand Junction police, fire units, and EMS responded to the scene.
