Two-vehicle crash reported at about 1:52 p.m., in the area of Railroad Boulevard and River Road. A dump truck struck a pickup and two occupants were trapped inside the pickup; both were conscious and breathing and crews requested extrication. The Ford F-150 struck by the dump truck sustained heavy damage. Occupants in the truck have moderate to serious trauma injuries. The dump truck driver appeared uninjured.
A secondary minor crash involving a Grand Junction Fire Truck occurred at this same incident.
