Aircraft Lands Safely With Mechanical Issue at GJT

At about 1:31 p.m., fire and EMS units were dispatched to Grand Junction Regional Airport on Walker Field Drive after airport rescue reported a Galaxy aircraft with a flap issue and eight people on board. ARF-2 was established as airport command and additional airport fire units were staged on scene.

The aircraft was able to land safely on the runway. All Grand Junction Fire units have cleared off the call and are returning to stations. Airport Fire Department is on scene inspecting the aircraft. No injuries reported.
